New Nexus Devices and What We Know
The new Nexus devices going to be confirmed on the 29th of September, and the leaks are all over the place and well they may very on many things there are a few thing they can agree on. First unless Google changes the name of them from now till their announcement, the LG made device will be named Nexus 5X and the Huawei device will be Nexus 6P. It is very possible that it will change seeing that that is the name floating around Google, and they may change it to be more "user friendly".
Let's just get Right into the specs. First off let's get to the OS. It will be rocking the brand spanking new android Marshmallow 6.0, right of the shelf. Now the Specifics the Nexus 5X will have a 5.2" and either a Full or Quad hd display, whereas the Nexus 6P will have a 5.7" Quad hd display. There has not been any really reliable leaks about their camera, but there has been a lot more on other internal specs. They are going to be powered by Qualcomm's snapdragon processor, however we are not quite sure which one. It will most likely be either the 808 hexa-core or the 820. The 5X will probably have the 808 and the 6P the 820.
Both will most likely have 3gb of ram and 2700 mAh and 3500 mAh batteries and that makes sense to have the larger on be part of the larger phone. Granted the 2700 mAh is no small battery either especially if you compare it to older phones.
Onto the storage. The 6P will come in 32gb, 64gb, and surprisingly a 128gb variant. and the 5X 16gb and 32gb variants maybe a 64gb but unlikely. Now none of this of course is removable following the nexus mold for phones same with the battery. Both will be hosting a USB type-c port and charger with data transfer rates to match and a finger print scanner on the back (which will utilize the new android pay).
Let's just get a little more in depth in the software aspect of these devices. Google seems to really be pushing use of their new fingerprint scanner and integrating fingerprint services throughout the new android version. Talking about the new Android 6.0. It has many new features such as full permissions control, better memory management, the new dose setting for battery management, and a whole slew of under the hood changes that the average user never sees. For that we thank you Google.
We will know more and have all confirmed on the September 29th, until then stay sharp.
